How to Create WhatsApp Channel on iPhone

How to create a channel on WhatsApp | Create a channel to share updates and connect with your followers directly through WhatsApp.

1. Open WhatsApp on your phone, and go to the Updates tab.
2. Tap +, and select Create Channel.
3. Tap Continue
4. Add a channel name, channel description and channel icon
5. Tap Create Channel, and you’re done

Guys if you guys still not found the + button, you guys may want to click the 3 dots in upper left in updates tabs and then click Create Channel and then you're done!

I do not think it is possible for normal accounts to create a channel as yet.

Updated whatsapp and still dont have "create channel" option. Only have "find channels" option.

I have an I phone 14 and when I click on updates, Channels +, I get an option of only finding channels no option to create a new channel. Why would that be so?

I don’t think the features is available for IOS for now. So I don’t know where this person got his own illustration from using iPhone
