A Day at the Beach - Virginia Beach, VA

Summer is here in the USA and it was time to visit the beach. Jack grew up close to Virginia Beach, Virginia so we find ourselves visiting the area a few times a year. On this visit, the sun was shining and the summer crowds were just starting to show up. We enjoy the surf and sand and sun for a while - then we planned to visit a museum that sits right along the Virginia Beach boardwalk. But when that fell through, we decided to enjoy an a round of mini golf at one of the numerous courses in near the beach. We wrapped up our day at the beach enjoying some fresh seafood at Harpoon Larry's Seafood & Oyster Bar. We are exited to share our first day at the beach in summer 2023 with you!

Fun day at the beach and in town Jack and Alice. We've visited before and I've never seen so many people on a beach anywhere. Had a great time though and there's so much to do and places to eat! Concerts with big time performers are never inexpensive anywhere anymore! Enjoyed your tour. The food looked delicious! Great video highlighting the area. Virginia Beach is awesome. It has been a few decades since we have been there but this video brought back some good memories. I would love to visit Virginia Beach someday! This looks like the perfect spot to get away. That statue is EPIC! Such a beautiful beach, it looks so busy compared to our local beaches, so nice to see so many people enjoying the beautiful beach. Love the dolphins!! So cool they have concerts out on the beach and food trucks too. Neat there's a museum there, too bad it was closed. Jungle golf would be fun! Congrats on winning Alice!! "When one of us wins, we both win" 😆 Fun arcade too! The Atlantic Sunset drink and Pina coladas look good. Hot crab dip, yum!! Potato skins look good too. I've never had flounder before. Glad you had a nice beach trip! We haven't been to Virginia Beach since 2019. The Latin music festival looked like it would be fun. Jungle Golf is a nice looking course. Yaaay for the team win! Ginger kicks my @$$ at mini golf. Looks like air hockey evened the score a bit. Harpoon Larry's look like such a fun spot. Menu, food and drinks looked delish! Beach trips are where I will likely meet my worst bout of temptation to relapse on alcohol. 😂😂 Sorry the entrée was a miss, but it happens no matter how good a restaurant is overall.
