Shulk is only so powerful because the entire world of 1 was made up of ether so he could rewrite reality to whatever he sees fit while pneuma can only make up reality on a smaller scale (this also applies to foresight). So the power is equalized. Although 2’s cast can match up with powerful eaters and blades so can 1’s cast when they fight mechon so I would say their strength is equalized as well

2’s cast should absolutely speed blitz 1’s cast. Light speed Rex is more than enough to beat them and if we were to say that everyone in the cast is comparable to Zeke then they’d have reactions close to lightspeed. 2 Beats 1 in speed

I honestly don’t really know where to scale their durability but if power and strength were equalized then their durability is most likely on par with each other.

While the monado arts of 1 are really strong I don’t think they can compare to weaponized cancer. Purge is a great ability against them but knowing the speed gap between the 2 they’d most likely would dodge the attack. Shield and armor is great for holding out against some powerful attacks from 2’s team but again, weaponized cancer. No amount defense is gonna defend you from that. Because of weaponized cancer they should have better healing. If we count ophion as an ability for Mythra then 2 would have the range advantage. 2 could send orbital strikes miles away from harm’s way while 1 has to struggle through a barrage of punishment, weakening them before they could start fighting.

In terms of fighting skill I’d actually give the edge to 1. 2 fought Jin who has fought for hundreds of years while 1 fought Dickson who fought under Zanza for a bit longer iirc
