Online traders make trading decisions solely on the basis on price activity and extrapolation forms and patterns. Technical analysis is a subset of price action in that it employs historical data to make calculations that may subsequently be utilized to influence trading decisions. The majority of technical indicators are utilized as a supplementary filter or translator when we are unable to grasp the price.

A price action analysis is the process of observing, analyzing, and analyzing the price movement of a market over time, which include trading the market utilizing raw price charts (no indicators).

By learning to read the price action, we may detect a market's directional bias and trade recurrent price action patterns or price action setups that signal changes or continuations in market sentiment.
