These cryptids are more likely to interact with Dee because I believe that the cryptids know Dee's intent. They know that she is aware of their existence and that she means them no harm, yet she does have fear of them and what they are capable of, and rightfully so because just as we have good and bad in humans, it would stand to reason that there is good and bad in many of the cryptid species as well. I thoroughly applaud Dee's efforts to bring us a better understanding of these unique species that are among us.

sasquatch and corn fields reminds me of a man in Australia about 10 to 15 years ago who had them on his property. He would go into the field and basically play tag with one of them. He said it would have so much fun running and tagging him. He said he heard it laugh many times. lol.
Obviously the man never won a game though but did put up some effort which the being really liked.
