I own a tubshroom! I have long hair and that gross clog is no fun. I clean off the tubshroom like once a week to keep it draining. Best way to keep your tub draining well. I have a different version, it's white and soft not hard probably because of the kind of drain in my tub. One of the best purchases I have made for my bathroom. Works great and is effortless compared to the clog!

Or you could attach a standard shower filter with the screw hole conveniently in the drain.
