I started bowling 2 handed about 6 months ago. I wasn't much of a bowler even one handed, but with 2 handed I was awful. I just couldn't understand how to hook the ball. I watched zillion videos in youtube trying to figure out how it can be done. Your simple advice really opened my eyes. Thank you!
My next struggle is now how to learn do that hop step. My brain simply refuse to understand it and everytime I try it I almost stumble to my feet...😅

Would love a video of you going into more detail on how to hold the ball and which way your palm should lie after fingers go in.

I had a lesson with one of the best PBA 2 handers and he opened my eyes to how I was incorrectly holding the ball (basically after you put your fingers in where you lie your palm down matters).

Hey! I'm relatively new to 2 handed bowling, and I struggle with controlling the pocket since my ball reaction tends to violently hook left. Would you say that first hand position would provide more control on the back end, and a overall smoother reaction? Thank you.

Me thinking I was the only person that twists there fingers😭. But doing so does help a lot cause I had trouble coming off the bottom of the ball I always came off the side but since I started doing this I started getting better at releasing the ball and it helped with my pin action

For spares, or if your shot just is hooking too much, move your index and pinky out wider.

I have a problem with my ball cornering sometimes even with the amount of revs I have. I think because I always release the ball like the first way

Are the 2 finger holes in your bowling ball cut uneven? If so I think you should talk about that. My biggest pet peeve about YT bowlers is they don’t talk anything about drilling holes. Finger grips, etc. I almost broke my wrist bc I was trying to spin the ball without grips.

This video is very helpful! My release and swing was a bit unnatural until I learned to tilt my hand a bit and move my left hand over more so I could hold the ball and have a better swing. Has improved my bowling game significantly
