This video features Becky sharing her inspiring story of stroke recovery over eleven years. Becky suffered a stroke and was left paralyzed from the nose down. After working in rehabilitation there was some improvement but traditional thinking from doctors told Becky after the first year of therapy there would not be any additional improvement. However, Becky did not give up hope.

Years later, Becky discovered Flint Rehab and their music glove and Flint Fit DVD set. These tools helped Becky regain movement in her hand and the ability to walk with assistance. Becky’s goal is to walk independently, and she is confident that with continued therapy she will achieve it.

This video is a testament to the fact that stroke recovery is possible, even years after the stroke. Becky’s story is a message of hope for anyone who has been affected by stroke.

In the video, you will learn more about:

-Becky’s stroke and its aftermath
-The challenges Becky faced

I had my stroke back in September 2022. Every time I get frustrated about things moving so slowly, I watch one if these videos and they raise my hope. God bless you to all the people who have fought through the adversity and the negative thinking of others. You truly give the rest of us hope, and you put a smile on my face whenever I hear your stories.

My Dad had a stroke 19 Dec 2024. It has been really hard on the family. He had constipation problem. Took some stuff and was down hill from their. Almost a week later he felt better. But he wasn't out of the woods he said he felt weakness in arms prior he had the stroke. On the day of the incident he got up quickly and open the curtains I assume it was in a quick manner because that is how my father is. He collapse couldn't talk. We all didn't know what to do in first few moments. We got him on the bed then called a ambulance. Bee rough on the family so far miss him tons.

Congratulations on your recovery situation! What I as a caregiver what like to know being paralyzed with no movement on the affected left or right side how did you manage to have the paralyzed side moving, by what means. This is important so that we can relate to the patient. What methods ?

My left hand remains without full motor control, but I can drive, work, walk; many can't tell anything wrong with me; I just want hand movement back. Congrats on your recovery!
