American here. Just got my launch edition Y 3weeks ago. Had a 2021 MY prior to this one. IMHO massive upgrade from my 21. Every aspect has improved, handling, steering, suspension smoothness, interior quietness, HVAC output, better, so far getting very close to EPA range in real world driving ( about 329miles for me in the US), my old one only got about 85% of its epa rated range.

I’ve added the new enhance stalks to my model 3, they are even better than the old or new model y stalks because you can now program them to do all sorts of stuff. I reckon they are now better than any other OEM product on the road.

About the sound system. Our friends were watching a movie in the back and were shocked. They said it was like surround sound. They were very impressed

oh wow! It’s so pretty! That color combo is just 👌🏻.
My grandmother has been looking a model s and I told her to wait for the New model Y. I think it would be a perfect mix for a person that’s used to a sedan (currently driving a lexus)

Also a SR Model Y owner and the dual motor is tempting to upgrade for in the Juniper. Even tho it says it’s a little over a second faster or so, it feels night and day! Hahha

Big fan - but you gotta fix your export settings. Lots of aliasing in the video that lowers the quality.

One of the main reasons why I would upgrade to the new model y is the interior and ride quality. Hopefully can test drive one soon.

Yeah, journalists go on and on about the suspension of the old model y. I test drove the highland and while it was a bit better over bumps, it wasn’t game changing to the extent that I wanted to upgrade.

I guess it depends on where you live. I found the roads in Melbourne to be quite rough but in Brisbane it has been less of an issue.

The issue with the sound system is that the rwd no longer has a sub, where’s the old model in Australia included a sub in the rwd.
