I love oxides, and this series has inspired me to pick up a few new (to me) colors and step outside my comfort zone!

Thanks again Lou. Love the colors you've chosen to blend. The 4 color combo I'm excited to use for fall cards and really love the blue with the brushed corduroy. Fantastic series. 😊❤

The first 2 colours you used are wonderful. I'm thinking Egyptian stamps and desert. Thanks 👍

I was watching something different on my UTube channel and came across this series of yours. This has got to be THE most informative group of videos I have EVER watched. I am colour blind and I find it very difficult to differentiate shades of colours and so deciding on which colour to use with another colour in my paper crafts and quilt making is a mammoth task for me. Your explaining of the different colours with Distress Oxides, for example, with the different names of the colours and your explaining what is a tealy shade of blue as compared to a greeny shade of blue and a warm grey against a cool grey in each of the colours of the inks, gives me so much information. You couldn’t possibly begin to imagine what a huge help this is going to be for me in my paper-crafting. I love my crafting and my sewing but my colour combinations sometimes make people cringe. I will buy two colour combinations of brown's and when I get home and show them to my daughter she will tell me one is a green. (so there goes another $A13 that I have wasted)
I commend you in deciding to do this series and I am glad I accidentally found your channel. A HUGE thumbs up from me and I don’t know if it worked but I did press the thumbs up button twice. Thanks heaps.

Lovely blends Lou. I am really enjoying these videos. Thanks for all the tips and hints. I didn't know you could blend the inks and oxides which is good until I get the oxide colours. Thanks so much. xxxx

The tan/blue combo reminds me of my school uniform which was just a shade darker…VERY long time ago!
