Blood Worm Moon lunar eclipse will be visible Thursday night

Imagine a full lunar eclipse to light up the night sky, now picture the moon in a red color while the phenomenon is happening.

The United States will have a front row seat, weather pending, to a spectacular lunar event on the night of March 13th. The full moon reaches peak illumination at 2:55 a.m. ET on Friday, March 14.

The total lunar eclipse will make the moon appear as a reddish color on Thursday, March 13 into the following day, depending on your time zone, according to NASA.
