I think it's so ridiculous that people sue for songs that sound similar/may have subconsciously influenced them when they made the song.

1. Almost every type of beat/rhythm/style of song has been created already - the rest that's not yet created would just sound crazy/nails on a chalkboard/it would not be pleasant for human ears to listen to..

2. If i was a singer or writer, I would absolutely never sue someone for their song *unless* it was legit the exact same... And even then, they still arent the same exact songs.

A song made over 20 years ago vs a song made 2 years ago - whats even the point of trying to sue? They each shine during their own year, in their own way, with the unique singer and band members.
