OMG, the CRACKLING is perfect! This image is exactly my ideal, and I even have those slippers. I just want to step into this and sit in a chair and read my book (current read is Mother-Daughter Murder Night) with some coffee and cookies! The wind sounds are just right: enough to make you cozy and warm, not to unsettle by making it feel drafty or too violent. The pinecone candles are a sweet touch, as is the snow in the windows, and your colours and the lighting are gorgeous contrasts. This is an instant fave. Thank you so much! And so here we are in January. It's like December, but the joy and festivity of Christmas have waned into vestige. It's the calm after the merry storm of the holidays. Now we relax, and take stock of how we're going to move forward in the new year.

Taking stock, the first thing I notice is that I still have a headache from New Year's Eve. So I gotta make moves in the new year with that in consideration.
