Ragda Pattice
Ingredients:
250 gm White peas( safed vatana), 3 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of cumin seeds-Jeera,1 chopped tomato, 1 1/2 tbsp of red chilly powder,1 1/2 tbsp of Coriander powder,1 1/2 tbsp of Cumin seeds-jeera powder, 1 tsp of Chat masala, 5-6 Boiled potatoes, coriander, 2 tbsp of Soaked Poha, Green chutney, Sweet Chutney (Imli Chutney) ,1/2 lemon, barik sev, salt and oil.
Method:
Method To make Ragda:
1. Add in cooker 250 gm of white peas( Soaked it overnight) then add glass of water, 1/2 tbsp of salt, Add 1 tsp of turmeric (Add 1 tsp of turmeric ) make 3 whistles.
2. After well cooked White peas, Mash it with masher.
3. Heat the oil in pan.
4. Add 1 tsp of cumin seeds-Jeera, add 1 chopped tomato, add pinch of salt (cook tomato till it becomes soft).
5. Add 1 tsp of turmeric and mix well.
6. Add 1/2 tbsp of red chilly powder,1/2 tbsp of Coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp of Cumin seeds-jeera powder and mix well altogether.
7. Add cooked White peas (safed vatana) and mix well thoroughly.
8. Add 1/2 Boiled potato, coriander and salt according to your taste ( mix well).
9.Add water( as per your requirement) and let it simmer.
10. Ragda is ready.
Method To make Pattice:
1. Take 5-6 Boiled potatoes into one big bowl or vessel.
2. Mash potatoes with hands.
3. Add 2 tbsp of Soaked Poha.
4. Add 1-1 tsp of red chilly powder, Coriander powder, Chat masala, cumin seeds-Jeera powder, Mix well altogether ( make it like a dough).
5. Take small piece and make round shapes Pattice.
6. Brush the pan with oil.
7. Place Pattice on pan and fry both sides till become golden in color.
8.When Pattice is ready take out on a plate.
Serving:
1. Take a small dish.
2. Pour Ragda in it then Place Pattice on it.
3. Again pour Ragda then Green chutney and Sweet chutney (Imli Chutney).
4. Then Sprinkle Chat masala, squeeze lemon, Sprinkle sev.
5. Ragda Pattice is ready to eat.
