I know whole food plant based diet is suitable for all ages but there are still a lot unknown or lack of information on how to bring up a child on plant based diet. Is there a website where we can get more information on this topic as well as well balance recipes for plant based babies?

Dr. Barnard, I have been WFPB for one year. I totally limit oils and salt. I make all my own food. My blood pressure is still 120/ 95-110 without my meds and I have PVC without meds. My cholesterol is still 235. What’s up with this? I am fit, weigh 148, am 5’7. I ride my bike 20-24 miles often. Please help. Exam room,

Wheat is different than it used to be. One or two servings a week is all you should have. Avoid sugar and oil.

P, ease everyone consider getting out a simple vegi burger recipe to your nonvegan friends and family with an explanation of hoping it will be helpful in the meat shortage. I texted it to 16 friends and family who would never have considered it before and I know 3 tried it.

Sounds like PCRM does not understand gorging on bread, pizza and pasta. I found eating a side salad first help. It is like the body is going to eat enough to get a certain nutritient that is not there. Real sourdough bread is a good option if you're going to eat bread. Avoid any bread with added sugar. The airier the loaf the faster it digests and raises your blood sugar.

About the bread, if you stay away from it for a while the microbiome changes and the cravings stop. Also if you're flooding the body with fresh green leafies and chia and some fruit there may be less cravings for all sorts of unhealthy things. Thank you PCRM 🥦🍎🥬🍅💚
