Okay, so imagine every landscape computer wallpaper you have ever had... got it?

Now merge them all together and times it by a million!

That is what it felt like walking around this place! 😂🥳😍

The Eibsee looks in summer like a Caribbean sea

"My name is Jacob, I am an Australian living in Germany, loving to wear shorts and slides throughout the whole year, not feeling cold though." *hahaha*
It's really funny to see you with slides and shorts during this time of the year! Keep going, bro! :-)

One word about "privately owned" in Bavaria: A good part of the forests here, for example, are privately owned, but by law, they must be open to the public for recreational purposes. Of course exceptions apply, like when they're reforesting an area, you can't just trample down the young trees. Private vehicles (this includes bicycles) usually are forbidden, and of course there is an absolute smoking ban.
I'm not sure how private ownership of a lake is, or can be, handled. I guess it's mostly about a certain area around the lake where you can sell food and drinks, offer boat rental, and maybe fishing rights.
I live in the Bavarian Forest and have the Großer Arbersee and Kleiner Arbersee nearby, that's something like the Eibsee and the Untersee on a much, much smaller scale.
What I find so fascinating about those lakes is that they were scraped out by glaciers during the last ice age, some 20, 000 years ago. Geological time scales and astronomical distances, both are so far out of reach of human imagination.
That having said, wonderful pictures as always, and you were lucky with the weather.

Beauuutiful pictures and editing! Thanks a lot for this awesome video! I really like the orange/pink colour that the sunlight creates on the mountains and the mood of the video.Very well done! "Stills"/frames like the one at 8:30 for example are really amazing and I copied some of them to use them as screensavers/background pictures for my desktop. I am sooo glad and happy that the german bureaucracy "allowed" you to spend another year in our country and enables you to travel around, visit beautiful places and share your little adventures with us. All the best to you and your beloved ones!❤️

Doing things because of the right reasons not only to serve a certain purpose, makes you only more loveable, especially for one person. Well made and honorable decision.
And beautiful location, too.

The Eibsee area is even more beautiful when filmed by you.
Justice forces me to call out one scene in particular; that starting at 8:14. At first we see the later water with a hint of what lies below the surface; then, magically, Jacob's camera transport our view into the water.

Wieder ein sehr sehr schönes Video und erstaunlich-amazing, wie gut Du "Garmisch-Partenkirchen" aussprichst, ist ja nicht ganz so einfach, und viel viel besser als die Untertitel dazu: garmisch park and curtin :) Aber: "See" hat nix mit dem englischen "see" zu tun, gell, so it is a looong ! :) LG

What I like about you so much is that you are always curious, open for new experiences, finding out background information, your eyes for all the beauty of nature being wide open. This makes your videos really precious and enjoyable. Please keep on doing this kind of work. Thank you! 💕
