The wildebeest were celebrating the New Year including the young ones which were adorable. Always great to see the very handsome gentleman, Tingana. That Avoca male was a beauty but looked a bit lonely. The lions in the Mara were so majestic, so many together.

So happy to see my beloved Duke, I was beginning to get a little twitchy because he hadn't been seen patrolling for a few days. Love him!

Wow, Tingana's stare, hardly blinking. Looked like he was eyeing up Steve for his breakfast. Thank you all for an amazing drive. To anyone wishing there was no speaking on these drives, you can turn off sound and maybe have some light music in the background instead. Whilst I absolutely love learning from the guides, so never would turn the sound off here, on some other sites I have had background music on(recently Christmas music) instead.

So nice to see Tingana again! He need's to step up his game again with Hukumuri back in the area. Nice Safari, as usual! :-)

Yep. Tingana is still a pretty good looking dude for his age. Hopefully son Hosana will follow in his footsteps.

In the last 20 minutes or so it sounded like Steve spoke to "Lukie". Did Luke come back? He was in FC?
