edit: loona wouldn’t have stood a chance, obviously, beelzebub being a powerful deadly sin and her being barely an upper class hellhound, but it was the mental strength that loona had and the fact she was defensive of herself and didn’t back up, but stepped forward in defiance.

second edit: yes, while loona has been literally traint to fight and kill her entire life, beelzebub is a sin, and higher up on the ranks of power canonically.
and also, loona hasn’t really gotten in fights (that we are aware of) with anything above the imp status.
in my eyes, beelzebub would have pummeled loona, but loona wouldn’t have gone down without a fight.
