We ran out of steam, i think its that simple. We were consistently the best team in England for the past decade winning 4 in a row. We also did NOT make enough signings last summer like not signing a CDM and striker (now made in January). Obviously big factors like rodris injury completely turned our seasons upside down but that combined with aging legends like walker, kdb, gundogan and bernado in decline. It was a recepie for disaster. I agree with you though, next season with the right signings in the summer (gk, rb, midfielder ect) we should be back!

I think Man City should consider a player like Bounanotte from Brighton & Albion - not much is known about Khusanov but Pep likes him. This player, Bounanotte, is obviously underrated but he is a player that brings in quality. Everything else could be only a matter of negotiations.
