I was born here but my parents immigrated from Taiwan. i haven't been able to go back for the past 4 years because of life circumstances even though i used to go every summer while i was growing up. something about this video made me feel like i was viewing my homeland with a fresh set of eyes. i saw the beauty in all the little things that i feel like i would not usually notice: the little stools made from cut logs, air drying plums with a little fan on the floor, the warmth/fondness the hosts had for the place they built. it moved me to tears. i miss home a lot. thank you for giving us a glimpse into your time together with Danna. truly so special!
