EA desktop is not recognizing that I have EA play with Xbox Gamepass PC, and I am sure that my accounts are correctly linked. Whenever I try to download an EA play game through the Xbox app with Gamepass PC, EA desktop doesn't give me a download prompt. Instead of giving me a downlaod prompt, it shows the EA play subscription page of the game I attempted to download.

Thanks mate, really helped, it was a pain in the ass. Guys, log out off EA Desktop and log-in again after you purchased the GAME PASS and than it will show you as if you bought EA Play

I have some games on my Origin account already and thinking of getting XBOX perks for EA Play. Hopefully this will make sense but will the perks show up on my Origin account when I don't play on the XBOX version?

it claims im linked already to another account but theres no way to unlink through xbox only through EA and i dont have access to that account anymore.

I don't get to "link accounts" section when I sign in to my EA account. It just directly puts me in the main menu. What should I do to connect?

Hi when i click on the fifa 20 or 21 in ea desktop app, it says slsect plan to buy. Though my xbox and ea is linked and have active game pass.

I installed EA Desktop in my PC. After I tried to Install EA Play games from XBOX, it's says EA desktop couldn't download. Can you guys help me?

for those who are having trouble with the installation. as it gives the "something went wrong screen". what fixed it for me was that my xbox account was linked to a old EA account so it did not want to link it at all. solution login to your old EA account go to account settings and unlink the current Xbox account from it. restart Xbox app and try again, it will link the Xbox account to your current EA account.

On PC you must have the same e-mails for both accounts. It took me a week to figure out.

I tried uninstalling both the apps and redownloading first xbox then ea desktop through the download ea game button. That didn't work either. It still says could not download ea desktop. So I have to download ea manually in all cases. What should I do?
