34:20 if you haven't found out already, i think the cursive is supposed to say "I've "frozen" myself", the space between "froz" and "en" kinda makes it look like it's two separate words and some of the letters (f r and z specifically) are written a bit less neat than what's taught so it's easy to misread if you're not super familiar with cursive.

is it just a pet peeve for me or does anyone else agree that little things like the glitch effects not looking at all like computer glitches and instead being obviously added in post really throws you out of it? lol that in addition to the caretaker song totally broke any immersion i couldve ever had

The song that u said was from animal crossing is from my favourite game series called pikmin, its the song that plays when youre in the horrofying cave called the submerged castle. Where a faceless blob on steam rollers chases you and tries to kill you

this ARG was so disappointing. It could've been such an incredible symbolism and story about abuse, about how Fred creating a split personality and pretending to be playing with his kids in minecraft as a coping mechanism for what he did to his kids. But nope. It's just yet another sci-fi-esque, possession, "oh everything was a simulation wow!", "kids souls being put into a game oo scawy". It was genuinely eerie how mysterious the first few videos were, but man...

I hope the whole "possession" and the whole corporation and "science" thing is one big metaphor. It's so well made, so i still quite enjoy it. But still, i have some gripes about this ARG.

I don't know if anyone saw the text at 26:59 but it basically said that: the map was a single play world, asking who's he talking to, its really hard to catch, and it just supports the fact that Fred is hallusinating about j being there

The whole "you, me, him" convention when writing in the book and quill is cringe inducing. It feels like an edgy teen trying to play around with perspective. I don't mind that they're toying with who's in control or which perspective is which, but there are definitely more effective ways to do that.
