I see my students saying, "Teacher I am so happy! My English is improving! Learning English is easier every day! I am making Canadian friends! I talk in English at work, and now I can do other work, work that I want to do! Not just the work I can get with no English. I feel strong and useful! I understand everything people are saying, and I even help them express themselves because I am learning more and more vocabulary. My grammar is so much better - everyone knows what I'm talking about! I can express my feelings and my needs and wants. I can discuss ideas a bit, and I'm learning to say more and more! I am so thankful! Thank you for helping me learn English! I am going to keep learning more and more and more. Then I will get my GED, and go to college or university. I will start a business or work in a job I love that pays all my bills and more! My family will be happy and successful and prosperous and we will have everything we need! Thank you so much, Teacher! You are a blessing and so helpful to us! You know how to teach us! And we can imagine learning more and doing whatever we want even after we leave your class! God bless you!"
