Charmaine of @unplantparenthood says since Anthruium are so sensitive to humidity, as the leaf expands quickly, it sometimes slightly tears (kind of like skin). So a good problem, she’s happy and growing fast she just wants more humidity. Maybe put a humidifier right next to her and run it every other day or so? That works wonders for my Verrucosum which was kind of doing a similar dance for a while.

Do you have a stingray plant? If you do, please talk about care, what you pot it in, and fertilize 😊😊😊.

I have a variegated thanksgiving cactus grown from 3 cuttings. Whilst I’ve not had it for too long (about7 months) the ghost leaved, so far are not an issue. They’ve put out leaves of their own and not lost any to date. Have hope 🙂

Lol watching your channel grow for about the past 2 years and I have wishlist plants because of your lovely collection. All in a good way, I love the episodes about specific plant care needs.

I believe fenestrations (french for window) are the "holes"... I call the other leaf splits or slits

I’m also loving my Bird of Paradise, even though it’s a tiny baby compared to yours 😄 Another one that’s just taking off is my alocasia Polly. And all of the corms I got from her in spring have sprouted (they’re in different stages, some of them are already tiny plants of their own). And number three is the sansivieria I got from my sister when I repotted hers - it’s now given me a tiny new shoot and it’s so cute!

Ooh! My Scalprum gave me a gorgeous leaf this month too! My Tandurusa also sized up in the Pon box and is loving life near my bedroom humidifier. But I don't do begonia since I killed my Rex 😢 C'est la vie! 💚

My Thai con and Albo monstera are putting out the most beautiful leaves at the moment! So I just put a message in the discord about the raphidaphora decursiva as just one and no idea what I am doing with it 🤣. Oh and I love Rex begonia but have found they only do well in my cabinet melted when I tried going out in the nirmal room environment?

Humidity seems right to me for the leaf tears 🤷‍♀️
My Tunderusa/Jaklyn went dormant last summer when I switched her to semi hydro, dropped every leaf, now this spring she’s popped back up again, I give her almost direct sun in the mornings and she’s got only 6 inch petioles!! I’m excited to get her big again
My Rhaph Decursiva wants to crawl so bad, have her on a cedar plank (experiment) I think I’ll chop, prop, and put on a moss pole, but she’s taking FOREVER, the last props I had took almost a year to root
I put my bird of paradise outside this year, high winds and 40 Celsius weather has beat her up a bit, but the new leaves are HUGE
I want your T-shirt!!! Where can I get it?!
My Rex begonias are great in my humidity, 35-58% but I couldn’t tell ya how you’d transition them, I’d say cabinet acclimation first for sure.

The green no ID looks like listida?
Also transition to normal room conditions is possible, but do it gradually. And if they die back i find mine come back to live and do well in new environment. Good luck 🤞❤

I had Rex Begonia growing in ambient conditions - in Tucson. Ambient doesn't get above 40% and hovers in the 30% range. I had leaf cycling at first, but new ones grew and, before I overwatered and killed the beautiful thing, it was looking spectacular. My Polkadot Canes crisped even near the humidifiers... But I would try a Rex again. Maybe in Pafcal - which I'm about to try in an effort to uncrisp my Anthurium fingers (pedatoradiatum) I never can spell that one! I want to try my Philo Ghost & Thai Con in it - and an Anthurium magnificum x dorayaki x forgetii silver. I'm not so into silver veins but I grew this from a one-leaf semi-rooted cutting and it deserves my best. It's newest leaf is burgundy so I'll wait to it hardens off. Sorry, this became a book. But have you heard of Pafcal? It was designed in Japan, lasts 10 years, and is supposed to provide ideal hydration... It's pricey but since plants aren't so much of a monetary investment, I can try this out! You might be able to nab us a discount! 😉 💚
