Denali's Food Waste Recycling: How it works

Denali works with businesses across the food supply chain to recycle food that cannot be sold or donated. One way we do this is through depackaging, a service that efficiently separates plastic, cardboard and other packaging materials from their organic contents. The clean stream of food that results can then be used to make compost, energy, and even soil that is sold back to consumer at the same participating businesses.
