I still hope that somewhere, somehow, one day, I will get to see them play this one live. Isaac included, please. For sure one of the most beautiful live performances ever.

The way Issac just sits there at the end looking so exhausted and distraught like he gave everything, his all in this performance breaks my heart. If you’ve been depressed or have anyone in your life who has depression you recognise that look. It’s a sad thing to see. All you wanna do is hug him. Depression isn’t being sad, it’s being so so tired of the sadness. Normal people are sad and then they can have a cry or a rant and eventually it’s ok. For people like us, like Issac no matter what you do every is exhausting and painful and you loose the passion you once had. Sometimes you have good days and the depression fluctuates day to day but it’s always there creeping from behind ready to take u like a wave. When the wave is there at first u can swim, u can keep it at bay but then a bigger wave comes along and engulfs you in water and now your fully submerged. All of a sudden it’s crying every day for no reason and then not crying for a month, it’s never eating and then binging till you feel sick, it’s never showering because you now have to prioritise your energy, it’s never sleeping and then sleeping for a day straight cos being alive is exhausting. It’s being alone but not wanting to be lonely. It’s staying in bed for a month without leaving the house. And if you don’t keep it in check, eventually it kills you. I’m glad Issac left, I think for his mental health it was the best thing for him. But be grateful we have songs like this one and the whole album of afut because Black Country new road has made music that’s so sad but so awfully beautiful. It hurts how beautiful basketball shoes is. He should be proud, they all should be, they’ve made something that could never be remade or repeated. Hope he’s doing better now

What the editor did was criminal. The camera should NOT have cut away from Isaac for even a second during that final "In my bedsheets."

Isaac's vocals are fucking insane here, probably the best version of this song

I just lived the dystopian nightmare of having ads pop up in the middle of this masterpiece of a song. So grateful to be able to hear this incredibile performance anyway.

No hyperbole, this is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard. Godspeed Isaac I hope you return to this band one day.

The way he perfectly encapsulates the feeling of finding the most beautiful thing you can imagine, and having it torn from you... gives me chills every time

you can see isaac needed some time. the way he puts the guitar on the floor and looks down like he's lost in the end... it broke my heart. if you've ever been depressed it's easier to recognize it when you see it. i hope he is well and wish him the best. he doesn't need to come back to the band. he has the right to live his life in his own terms. godspeed to the bcnr, hope they continue making awesome music together.

Surprised to realize that this video is only 10 months old. Already feels like a record of something that happened in some unreachable past

Holding out hope Isaac will return some day, if it suits him. If not, thanks for the best album I've heard in 20 years, and good luck to ya mate

It is insane how many people have not seen this live version yet. This feels to me like one of those monumental live recordings which people will go on to associate with the band for many years to come.

this song has been of more help to me in the month following the breakup from my fiance than any therapy, long walks, talks with friends and family could ever be. i don't think i've ever connected and related to a piece of art in the same way i do with this song. the line "your generous loan to me, your crippling interest" has changed me forever.

This is one of those amazing works of art that we as humans can be really proud of, to think that through hundreds of thousands of years everything evolved just so we can hear such a beautiful chaos of melodies and rhytms wrapped in a breathtaking explosion of emotions, this is the song that i will listen as an older man when i want to remember how it felt to be a teenager.

this has always reminded me of the 98 fishmans preformance because i feel issac had a similar feeling to shinji sato knowing this would be his last preformance
