A couple years ago a little girl died from the air quality of London. She slowly suffocated for years. Listening to her mother tell stories of resuscitating her over and over is heartbreaking.

The effort and love you put into these videos, seeing as this is a genre that has difficulties growing on nowadays YouTube is very endearing. Great video!

My home town on a nice and sunny day! St. Louis, Mo. I never thought it would look this nice in black and white. Awesome Sauce indeed.

Hide and seek in the fog, though.

A “pea souper” is a general British term that is a reference to thick and dense fog, it comes from how thick pea soup is. The term wasn’t applied to just one smog.

Grain sacks and Whiskey would be a good name for a country music album

There's a book on both the great smog and the notting hill murders which took place around the same time. It's called Death in the Air and a pretty good read if you're a fan of true crime.

The effects of pollution and climate change are ten times more scary than any horror story, film or game, mainly because they're real. I recently watched "David Attenbourogh: A Life On Earth", and that was extremely scary when he was discussing just how bad things will go if we remain on our current course, and just how soon it will happen too. Sometimes I wish I was never born at all, or at least not into a world where we're all slowly dying.

I live in the USA and the time of this smog in 1952 I was only four years of age. I can honestly not even imagine air that bad. No, I've not been to either coast. I'm in Minnesota.

I like that you've taken to theatrics. It's very amusing

My parents lived through this. My mum said she got lost in her own back garden and had to get her brother to shout so she could find her way back to the house.

London's air quality has improved quite a lot since I was a kid. There is still a lot of room for improvement though.
