I've gotten this song stuck in my head periodically ever since I was in first grade back in 1996, but my little kid brain couldn't remember the lyrics that came after "these are the months of the year" and it always bothered me. Took a lot of digging through month memory songs, but I'm glad I finally found it so I could put it to rest. xD

I’m 42 and I used to sing this song when I was in kindergarten!

This was my number one jam in kindergarten back in 1980-81. I told my music teacher--a gentleman by the name of Mr. Seastrong--that this was my favorite song. He looked me in the eye and told me that I should sing it every first of the month. More than 40 years later, as we kickoff 2022, I still follow that advice.

Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I found this song from Kindergarten back in 1992! Now if I could only find the days of the week song. It went 🎵Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (clap clap) the days of the week. 🎵
