By now you are a pro in the base game of quacks and you already summoned the herbs witches for assistance now is time to help some strange and fantastic patients with all kind of weird conditions like ear worm, carrot nose, wing ear and other ailments.

This expansion brings another extension to you typical cauldron. Now you will have a flask to create a special essence as a remedy for your patient. It also include new fortune cards specific for each expansion and new locoweed book. In case you went for alchemist instead of the herbs witches locoweed doesn’t have set number of movement. The movement is determined by what the book says.

On this expansion right after preparation but before scoring you will work on the essence phase. Your marker will move forward depending on how many different colors you had in you cauldron, if you had exactly 7 cherry bombs and if your neighbors pots exploded. Depending on where your droplet land you get different bonuses. In the last round every space advance will become a VP

That is the summary of alchemist expansion. Totally worth it lots of fun. I really enjoy that patients are introduced. Is nice to know for whom we are creating all this essence and potions 😂
