Join Mary Walsh, Brian Daggs, and Amy Jewitt of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program for a webinar presentation on ten early detection invasive species to be on the lookout for in Pennsylvania.

-Asian longhorned beetle (Anoplophora glabripennis)
-Water soldier (Stratiotes aloides)
-Java water dropwort (Oenanthe javanica)
-Nutria (Myocastor coypus)
-Leatherleaf mahonia (Mahonia bealei)
-Japanese chaff flower (Achyranthes japonica)
-African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis)
-Giant reed (Arundo donax)
-Flattened rush (Juncus compressus)
-Blue catfish (Ictalurus furcatus)

You'll learn how to identify these species, what their preferred habitats are, and their current distribution in the state, among other details. Information will also be provided on how to report your findings of these species to iMapInvasives, or the appropriate state or federal agency.
