As co-chair of President Obama's Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities Working Group, Attorney General Schneiderman announced a $16.65 billion settlement with Bank of America to resolve charges of misconduct by the bank, which helped cause the 2008 financial crisis. The settlement - the largest in U.S. history with a single institution - will also net $800 million for New York, including $300 million in cash and $500 million worth of direct consumer relief.

Thank you for acknowledging the employee's who have been working so hard along with you, they are worthy of praise for a good job well done!
I commend your team in their commitment to protect New York citizen's and their families from any further fraudulent abuse from these financial organizations.
I am so impressed an admittance of guilt was finally  made by one of these large institutions. It is well over due!
Relentless greed, selfishness and ramp-pet carelessness was the fuel that cause  the great recession. These high crimes and traitorous actions financially and emotionally devastated so many families and their neighborhoods, including mine!

So who is helping California citizens?  Is U.S. Trust / Bank of America using Preeminent Investment Corporation, ect in Chino CA to purchase the serving rights of these old mortgages that are currently in foreclosure? Didn't the FHFA  take conservator-ship of Fannie Mae loans in 2008?  Who is this Preeminent Investment Corporation and what gives them the right to proclaim they are the new owners of our property?  Do you believe Americans have the right and responsibility to question these mortgages companies current foreclosures, sales and transactions? Why are disabled citizens and their families being financially ruined by the government along with these financial criminals?

When will law enforcement in California stand upright and say no more to responding, helping and aiding these abusers with continuing their twisted and deceptive practices that have injured so many? Shouldn't Sheriffs who's salaries are paid to prevent crime be working against  these fraudsters, instead of being their heavy strong arm bouncers?  Has anyone addressed the possible financial gain the local government, municipalities, courts, clerks and or law enforcement might be obtaining by assisting with the taking of their citizen's property.  Basically the fees they collect in court fees, recording fees, ect.

notices to quit to the original homeowners, with only a two page document of Deed on Sale as their proof of claim?  When will the people who were hurt by the crash financially and emotionally  be shown respect and actually get some real hard cash assistance?

Appears to me the  FHFA, Fannie Mae, Citibank, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Bank of America, just to name a few, are still working along with their lawyers, title and insurance companies and collection firms to sweep away the remaining evidence  of their crimes before these Deals actually go into effect, not really working hard to keep our countries families and their minor children in their homes.  My family has 4 days left in our home of 13 years and then we will be forcefully put out on the streets.

They can take all the material things of this world that I currently possess, my heart and spirit has been been wounded many times already. THE GOOD NEWS is they will never be able to steal my soul, for that already belongs to the Lord!  By His mercy and loving grace I am a member of His court, which means I will be a Princess forever, doesn't it!

God Bless your agencies work, keep on trucking and keep the Lord by your side always!
