I feel so compelled to say this. Sam looks younger every video you do. It’s such a big deal that he gifted you the plane and in return, I think you’ve rejuvenated him. Congratulations on both of you! Much respect, from an Northern Manitoban. (Canada)

Legit was thinking about how Sam used to be the mysterious previous owner till now he's bright happy and fully of life bringing smiles to everyone daily, super stoked to see him become part of the rebuild rescure family.

I just want to say I’m really glad Sam is around for all of this. He seems like he’s loving every second!

I recently discovered your channel and although I don't know anything about airplanes, I really liked it because of the love you put into rescuing abandoned airplanes. I also know that you lost your friend Sam and although I didn't know him, it is clear that he was a great person. I'm already starting to miss him in your new videos and how much you and your team will miss Sam's presence, but I'm sure he's by your side in spirit. Greetings from Miami, and sorry for my English.

Keep this cougar intact and get it airworthy again, if the plane was too far gone part it out but in this case, this plane is worth putting some money into it and get her back in the air, it’s in better shape than the 401!

Sams transformation is amazing. You really breathed life into his older years and you cam see it everyday. He came out of his shell and it's beautiful. From a cryptic old man, to a forever young smiling gentleman in a year. Good job guys. Love watching

It was great to finally meet you, Jason. I can now appreciate the work you do to act and produce these videos. Keep up all the good work of rehabilitation of derelict aircraft. Jake is going to be a real asset.

The used parts scene in Florida is infamous in the industry for a reason. I personally never had a great experience buying parts from dismantled aircraft in that state. Corrosion and dicey aircraft history being the main reasons.

Its true finding spare parts for a Grumman Cougar can be difficult, which is a shame. Not many manufacturers have stepped up to make Cougar replacement parts which is likely due to liability. Really enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.

A GRUMMAN! I had no idea that A; They were still around B; that they ever made civil aviation aircraft!
I guess I need to brush up on my Grumman History! I simply remember them as making some of the most bad ass planes of WWII! They were tanks in the skys and the pilots that flew them LOVED THEM!

Always great to see Sam in the videos. He looks like he has a new lease on life, and Rebuild Rescue saved him. That Cougar looks really nice, looking forward to whatever you have in store for it. Shame about those wing sections, I hope it all works out in the end!

I think it's really cool how you bring your employees like Jake around on all your different adventures. He probably could never experience a lot of these things if it weren't for you.

That Harbor Freight Viking battery charger is AWESOME! I have two of those, one at home and one at work. The "recondition" function works miracles on dead batteries. It's nice that it can do regular FLA batteries, AGM batteries, and gel batteries.

Love it this plane will start. Forget the wings restore the Florida Cougar.

A little safety note for you: When you prop something up with cement blocks, you should set them with the holes in the blocks vertical, as that's how they were designed to support a load. They can crumble easily when lying horizontal under anything in the least heavy.

It’s not my aircraft, but with the limited number of those aircraft left around, I would say save the one down in Florida. Also, we look at how fast it started. I don’t know how much the new avionics would cost but I think it would also be a worthwhile project, I would hate to see a perfectly good plane just shoes for scraps
