I don’t really believe Shannan would have said “ you can’t see the girls ever again “. She seemed to be a very caring mother and she would have wanted her girls to see their father . I think he is making this up as an excuse for the murders .

I don't believe it! He is lying....he planned for some time before the 13th the deaths of his whole family. The song, Battery shows his intent. CW listened to the song "Battery" from his favorite band, Metallica in the days around his murdering his family. Whatever the words mean, CW is a dark person and he absolutely had that in his head, as a theme to his planning of their deaths. He loved Metallica and I'm sorry but heavy metal is not known for love songs. This man who murdered his family and CRAMMED his daughters into batteries of crude oil was listening to words of a song that say: "Smashing through the boundaries, Lunacy has found me, Cannot stop the battery. Pounding out aggression, Turns into obsession, Cannot kill the battery. Cannot kill the family, Battery is found in me. Crushing all deceivers, mashing non-believers, Never ending potency. Hungry violence seeker, feeding off the weaker, Breeding on insanity." ---I have no idea what Metallica meant by the words, but that CW put his babies in batteries of crude oil and loved this group and played this song as an anthem, no doubt, isn't lost on me! CW was in a dark place, the words to the song are dark, and he played the song, as a personal anthem song and shows his intention of just what he was going to do, and is exactly what he did. Lunacy did find CW, it was an obsession, it did turn into aggression. Though the song says, "cannot kill the family" CW DID kill his family! He is sick, demented and could not have been in a loving place to kill his pregnant wife and his two baby girls and put them in batteries of crude oil. No loving father could EVER do that! CW had no love for Shanann or his babies. I won't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He intended to murder way before Shanann walked in the door of her home at 2 am. No doubt his babies were already dead.

This is EXACTLY what I've thought happened all along. Little Bella would sleep with them sometimes so with her injuries I have felt as though she had woken up and realized what was happening. My soul aches for that sweet girl.
