Liquid Brun smells like a delicious cake and you'd eat it until it makes you ill. I got Liquid Brun delivered yesterday and it does (for me) live up to the hype. I've two now from French Avenue and will be taking a closer look at what else they have in their stable.

I have at least 4 Fragrance World fragrances and they smell good to very good but the performance and longevity is average to below average. The best one I own is Nebula Star Man Nebula. I have their Bvlgari clones called the Bavaria line (Hawk, Azlan and Lapurd). They all smell good but P/L is average.

Moka wood is a compliment magnet and i LOVE Anaqeed. I will get PDM Layton Exclusif before next winter

@aromatix I finally got my Liquid Brun from FragFlex and the “compliments are churning”… a big hit at the office, on Wall Street and waiting for QM11 express bus going home

I have the 100ML bottle, and I find it far to strong on the Vanilla note, there is very little of the cinnamon spice coming through. It does a little after the dry down, but not as much as I would like. With it being so strong on the Vanilla, I'd almost argue it's heading towards a woman's fragrance rather than unisex or masculine. I'm a little disappointed if I am being honest, but that's the risk you take on blind buys. Sometimes you win, sometimes you give to your wife or friends 🙂

I sampled The Shadow this week. It is strong for like the first 3 hours. Lasted a max of 6-7 hours. Rather go with Oros pure leather by Armaf

I started with clones, and some are amazing. I also have designer and niche frags. Some impress the heck out of me, making me think, "Should I live in the clone world, or say goodbye to clones no matter how good?"

You replied to me once that the clones just don't have the naturals. Just got Zaharoff Seraphim Blue, and even with my novice nose, the scent seems..."pure". But is it worth it? I know, it's personal.

Questions I ask are to qualify the value. To me, even though new on the scene, I think this may be a golden age for clones, though i don't have a lifetime of experience to perceive fragrance evolution over the decades. That's probably why I'm commenting — wouldn't matter if all clones sucked. Could you comment?

It would seem that I could have Turathi Blue next to Seraphim Blue next to Kayan Classic next to Dior Homme Parfum (cuz I have the clone of the Intense) and enjoy them all. Maybe it's a question that can never be answered; $30 killer cheapies alongside of $250 niche frags that don't have a killer clone yet.
