SuperBowl Sunday pre-game show is officially here. It's the final round of the 2023 Maricopa Open! AB has collected 4 strokes for his back pocket but with Andrew Marwede's near flawless golf, we'll have to see if that's a done deal for AB or might Marwede and the rest of the Funky Bunch find a way to hunt him down and surpass him. Don't click anywhere else but here! (Well, ok, you can click on a few of the sponsors listed as well please).

I just remembered! When we signed up for Maricopa Open, there was an option to add on additional funds for tournament coverage. I thought it was a mistake, but turns out my past self gave my future self a lil gift! Plus helped the disc golf guy 🤓

My graphing calculator is right on top of my filing cabinet, it still has batteries in it, and whip it out to do a calculation once in a while. I've been on zoom meetings and people are trying to do a calculation on their computer or phone calculator and I've walked away, gone and got my calculator, then come back and finished the calculation before them. They are powerful tools and they exist for a reason.

My graphing calculator was handed down to me from my cousin, I then passed it on to my sister, she passed it on to my brother, he passed it on to my cousin’s son who passed it on to my daughter. You could say at this point it is a family heirloom.

The ole TI83 is sitting next to my old phone chargers and stapler. I should probably clean my desk out... 😅 thanks for the coverage Terry!

Thank you again Terry! My graphing calculator is long gone. If for whatever reason I need to graph a function, I would use an app.

Fun fact I won my very first tournament the same Maricopa open. I won first place in rec after a year of playing. What a great tournament.

Turned my ti84 back into the book store at the end of the year. Didn’t have to buy one they were issued by the school along with an at home set of books for your classes so we didn’t have to lug books back and forth

I am a reseller as in I buy things at thrift stores and yard/garage sales and resell items online mainly eBay. I always find TI 83, 84, 85 calculators normally for $2 to $5 at yard/garage sales and the 84 model I think sells for solid money, last one sold for $50. The 83 and 85 models sell for around $20-$30 each. If you find the 84's new they are usually $80-$120. Thanks for the disc golf content. Figured I would comment on the calculator since you asked about what people did with them, I find that most probably sell them off or eventually lose them or hand them down.

My ti 89 is in my electronics box with an old hard drive and some other unused devices. Been moved probably 4times without any use

I can't believe ti84 still costs so much! I've had mine for over 20 years and it still works. Hopefully I'll give it to my daughter in 8 years

I want to see Aaron's disc, after slamming the corner of the light pole on the tee of 12, at what looked to be over 70 mph!

I still have my TI-81 and 82 safely stored. I can’t bring myself to get rid of them.

I put my ti calculator at the end of my driveway with some old speakers and a couple books and randome things, and made a Craigslist post for free stuff. I held onto it unused for like 12 years though.

Also if someone reads the comments before watching they will be confused lol
