I moved to Tennessee in 2021 after retiring and I can tell you Knoxville is booming. Its growth is starting to reach the suburbs I live in. I don’t know how Chattanooga is doing but that is a beautiful city. Of course Nashville is booming as well.

Fort Wayne, IN is the best kept secret in real estate. The prices are low (see what $200K will by you just a couple of miles from downtown)., the cost of living is low, the crime is low, unemployment is low, and it has consistently been rated among the best places in the country to raise a family. The city is on the rise with multi billion dollar projects already funded over the next decade with Downtown expanded to the north of the Saint Mary's river. Public Art, Theater, Museums, and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic only scratch the surface of things to do in Fort Wayne. We moved to Fort Wayne three years ago from Fairfax, Virginia. Fairfax is beautiful but the cost of living is so high and the traffic is mind-numbing. Fort Wayne is big enough to have all the amenities you want but small enough to not have the problems you don't want. We love it here!

I was listening to the video and not watching it as I fell asleep and I heard the average home value for Atlanta was $104K. As an Atlanta native, I popped up immediately and said “WHAT!” But I saw on screen that it was $401K. That’s accurate. Lol. Love the videos Briggs. Keep em comin.

We got priced out of New hampshire and "settled" in Nampa, ID and im glad.

Everything happens for a reason but i am glad to be away from the crazy. Its quiet and safe

Am I high on crack or are all these cities with half a million dollar home value averages just insane for the average middle class fella like me? I mean geez I feel like I have a good paying job but these prices are mind-numbing.

How about smaller cities/towns?
Population:
Towns 5k-20k?
Cities (smaller) 20k-50k?
Best in each state?
Regions? West/East/etc

Breweries are an option... 👾

Moved to the north Houston suburbs after living in the PNW my whole life. We love it so far! Even though the summers are rough, the people are amazing and love all the trees here. TONS of new development and very conservative

Tampa? You failed to mention home insurance is off the charts. My home was built in 1981 and State Farm wouldn’t touch me. USAA quoted me $12, 300 for the year. I had to go on a State ran last resort insurance that was near $6000 a year.

As someone who was born and raised in Denver, Recommending Cherry Hills is wild unless you're famous, a Doctor, or a Lawyer.

I have $255K in retirement account, yet can't afford a house in the suburbs here around NY, obviously something needs to break or no house will ever get sold again except mansions to CEOs. I now look to the stock market to boost my reserve, and buy a home afterwards.

I work at a restaurant in Boise. Our patio is right on the Boise river. Pretty amazing view. However, Meridian isn't the suburb to live in. I live in Boise proper but Nampa and Caldwell are a 20 minute drive and 30% cheaper for houses than Meridian and 35% less than Boise at minimum.

Buying a house in 2025 that's hilarious good luck.

My friend lived several years in Powell, Ohio - and absolutely hated the cold weather. Later, she spent several years in Apex, NC, a suburb of Raleigh. She thought her neighbors there were very stuck-up, and when her husband retired they moved to Atlanta (Covington), where she’s much happier.

Tampa ha ha! Home insurance prices are out of control. There are water restrictions due to a shortage of drinking water. The infrastructure is in disrepair. Interstate 4 SUCKS! Tampa's luck on avoiding a direct strike from a hurricane is on borrowed time. The school system has a serious shortage of teachers too!

We're really in frog -boiling-in-water territory with housing prices these days, aren't we

Cost of living in Denver is awful. And if you like fresh produce, good luck. There isn't any unless you want to grow it yourself. During the short growing season where you will lose your plants to hailstorms. And Cherry Creek? Way to steer everyone to one of the most expensive neighborhoods. If you have kids, schools in Denver are problematic, to put it mildly. Plan on private school or go out to the suburbs. And when your kids are grown, they will not be able to afford to rent, much less buy. Denver is a terrible choice to move.

I live in a Columbus suburb, and the new house construction is just crazy. I'm beginning to wonder when it will get to be too much.

Denver has high crime and homeless right now. Gone down hill a lot of the last 5 years. The north suburbs are still nice but $$$$. Way overvalued imho.
