Hurricane Dorian's track through the Bahamas

Hurricane Dorian made one of the strongest Atlantic hurricane landfalls on record, tied only with the Labor Day hurricane of 1935 when it slammed the Bahamas with winds of 185mph.
Dorian's damage is still not fully clear on the islands, but entire communities have been decimated, with the death toll likely to rise beyond dozens.

Dorian remarkably stalled as a Category 5 hurricane near Grand Bahama, and took over three days to clear the islands as it turned northwest. The storm also delivered tropical storm force winds to Florida whilst perched just 100 miles offshore, with the state avoiding major impacts by the narrowest of margins.

Hurricane Dorian was litterally a giant middle finger to the Bahamas, it stayed on top of Freeport as a cat 5 and then cat 4 before slowly moving away as a cat 3, stopping, slowly moving back down, then finally leaving as a cat 2... TWO WHOLE DAYS AFTER MAKING LANDFALL
