I fell inlove with a girl in highschool, she was just absolutely everything i could dream for in a woman.. well we started to talk a bunch and she could tell that we were getting a serious connection.. well out of respect she told me that we shouldnt be together because she would be leaving to chicago for college.. man did that just make me love the person she is so much more, she knew the path we were about to go down and she didnt want to ruin anything. Directions
Step 1
In large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, butter and, egg; stir until flour is moistened.
Step 2
Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat until drop of water sizzles; brush lightly with oil. In batches, scoop batter by scant 1/4-cupfuls into skillet, spreading to 3 1/2 inches each. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly and edges are dry. With wide spatula, turn; cook 2 minutes more or until golden. Transfer to platter or keep warm on a cookie sheet in 225°F oven.
Step 3
Repeat with remaining batter, brushing griddle with more oil if necessary.

I had a crush on someone, so I left a note for him. He debated for awhile about going out with me but never did. Later he stated that he would never date me in front of his friends and I’ve never dated anyone or confessed feelings to anyone ever again. I know it’s fucked up but a part of me knows it was for the best because I ended up moving to NY for Uni and Japan for family, a year later.

I have a degree in Cybersecurity with 2 CompTIA certifications and work at a school now and can’t wait for the future and who I spend it with. 😊
