11 complains to the Tardis about her never taking him where he wants to go. The ship might work better if he didn't keep exploding in it!

For people saying about the 50th (/Doctor's Wife) one, it was an entire rebuild, they did put the console into storage but the storage was flooded and it got damaged so when they needed it they had to build it again from scratch!

Kind if right, but not quite. The time rotor did need to build rebuilt, but in season 1, not 4. They left the lights on for too long, causing the interior rotor to melt. That was sold at an auction online.

Set designer: Right then. Off to plan a new TARDIS set. You almost done here?
Special effects director (Irish): Well now that you mention it, i gotta make a few adjustments

Yeah they had to semi fix it because they had to film scenes in it later on for the sarah jane adventures episode the wedding of sarah jane, that's why you don't see the time rotor moving up and down in the scenes at the end with luke, rani, clyde and sarah jane in the tardis! 😊😊

I cried when he changed into the 11 doctor he was my favorite one and broke my heart to see him go. I will always go back and watch those episodes❤

A few things about Doctor who, when Donna came in, i had a problem with her, that lasted about 10 minutes, She was awesome. Then, When David left, I was so hurt, when he cried out, I dont want to go. It was devastating, I was broken . BUT , I LOVED all the doctors. So many moments of all the shows were awesome. I dont remember the episode where Donna father goes onto a booth with 2 doors and the only way for him to get out, David has to enter the other door to pres a button to release him, David gets a lethal dose of radiation, which means his end is coming, (boy did I cry ) that old man (Donna's father ) was in the original back in the 60s,

David Tennant also said that there were two versions of his final scene, in his behind the scenes videos he said that one take has him really brake down in tears, and in the other take that they used he tries to fight it a little bit more. He didn't want his doctor to look like he lacked courage in his final moments.

I heard one of the reasons for such a large burst of regen is that it is said in non TV canon that not only does he visit 10's companions but he visits EVER companion he has every had till then. Holding off regen for so long that it exploded when he let it happen

And they rebuilt it again for Amy and Rory for the possessed tardis episode.

To be honest he was the best He’s the one I grew up with he brought so much life to the character and he’s the only reason why I rewatch the show

Believe it or not, apart from the rotor, most of the set actually survived intact.

IIRC a lot of the flames throughout were just coming up through the metal holes in the floor, meaning they weren’t actually burning/destroying anything, and the rest were digital duplicates created with CGI. Even the giant arch that “shatters” was one specifically created for that scene; you’ll notice it falls from a direction we never see 10’s TARDIS from, because that’s where the hole in the set for the camera crew is.

So that arch wasn’t part of the original set, meaning everything that got “destroyed” was specifically created for that scene (except the rotor). Everything else was survived largely intact when shipped in storage for the DW experience, which is why they were able to bring 10’s TARDIS back without blowing their budget in _Day of the Doctor_

It just made for a better scene when the tardis was being destroyed, it added to the effect, but in his regeneration was in the most heartbreaking

Hey there, fun fact:

The central portion of the Console is known as the Time Column not the Time Rotor. The Time Rotor is a device inside of the Time Column or in some cases as seen in modern Who beneath the Time Column.
