Hi everyone.

Today we're going to talk about Employee Assistance Programs or EAP's.

Employee Assistance Programs are a type of work-based service provided by some employers to support the well-being of employees. They offer free and confidential counseling and can include support for personal and work-related problems such as alcohol misuse, financial struggles, and workplace stress. EAPs are bound by privacy rules and are mandated by laws like the Hughes Act for federal employees. However, if employees are harmed by EAPs, they may file a lawsuit and seek the help of an employment law attorney.
