Thanks for bringing us this review so quickly, Darren. I'm glad I watched your review before clicking on that oh-so-tempting 'Buy Now' button! You've actually saved me some money, but made me sad simultaneously! The Air 3 does have (as you showed us) some fantastic features, but nothing tempting enough to replace my mini 3 pro with. The mini 3 Pro is compatible with the RC Pro and it gives me waypoints and hdmi out. So for the moment, I'll be sticking with my mini 3 Pro :)

Mate your videos are brilliant, i have a mini pro 3 just because of the ease of the laws surrounding drone, please can you tell me or do a video in simple terms of what a c1 drone and a2 licence actually means because i cant get my head around it lol

The one thing that sucks about the RC-2 controller is not being able to swap the ascend/descend controls. I am so used to “pulling back” on my Air2s to ascend that I’ve almost crashed several times flying the Air 3. I hope they update that otherwise it’s a great drone.

Nice review Darren, thanks mate. Seems a lot of people are not prepared to change to the Air 3 over their Mini 3 Pro, I am also one of those. While the Air 3 does have some nice features it's not enough for me to spend $2.5K AUD, I'll stick with my Mini 3 Pro as well.

Will the new remote work with other DJI drones? Ie. Mini 3 Pro? So if we're not ready to get another drone right away we can still use the new controller with what we've got?

Brilliant! Subscribed and Liked. Yesterday I bought the DJI Bundle Fly More (DJI RC 2) I had to go to three outlets by taxi to get one. Where can I find basic operating instructions? (I've followed the set-up, connected the controller to the internet, linked the controller to the drone, and registered the product).

For the past month, I have been wavering between a Mini Pro 3 and Mavic Classic. With the upgraded RC and other features, the Air 3 was the ultimate winner. I just laid out the cash for the Air 3 Fly More Combo and hope to be flying it by this next weekend. Sure glad I had put off a decision for a few weeks or else I might have ended up buying the wrong drone! 5.1 would be nice but I mostly use my drone footage for entertaining friends and family, not for making professional videos. 4K works more than good enough for that purpose.

Love that it has vertical shooting too! Even if it isn't at 4K, I am super happy they added that on.
