Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 71 yards on 10 carries and caught 3-of-5 targets for 43 yards in Jacksonville’s 13-6 loss to the Texans in Week 5.

Etienne continues to improve every week and is starting to take over the Jacksonville backfield. He and James Robinson each got 10 carries but Etienne outgained Robinson 71 to 27 and out-received him 43 to 12 and further distancing himself in the timeshare. Etienne appears likely to be the best Jacksonville back to roster ROS but until Jacksonville can be more consistent on offense it won’t matter. Etienne also has yet to score his first NFL touchdown and his ceiling is limited until he starts to find the end zone.
