You explained it yourself. "I pray to Jesus and you pray to God". As Muslims we agree with what Jesus teaches. He is a Prophet of God. Islam simply clarifies to NOT Worship anyone besides God. No statue, no "Saint", No Human. I herby invite you to Islam.

Surah Al-Ikhlas 112
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. Say, "He is God, the One.
2. God, the Absolute.
3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4. And there is nothing comparable to Him."

What an incredible young man. No attacking anyone. No demeaning anyone. Simply asking and trying to learn. I love this!!! If all men were like THIS guy, what an amazing place this would be. Respect!!!

seeing someone just ACTUALLY asking a genuine question about Islam instead of pathetically trying to attack it is REALLY refreshing
truly a legend

I'll explain to you :
In islam jesus is a prophet and a messenger of God and the messiah (messiah in Arabic and Hebrew means the chosen by God to fulfill a task and not a savior like Christians claim)
If you read the bible you will see clear verses where jesus himself prays to god. Shows the supremacy of god. Reveared god
But if you read the bible with the trinity concept in your mind and ignore what jesus himself said then you'll end up worshipping jesus which is the biggest sin in both islam and judaism (idol worshipping)
In islam god promises to forgive people's sins (people with sincere hearts) even after death the only one sin that will not be forgiven if the person dies with it without repenting is shirk (idol worshipping and associating partners to god)
Look God in the quran said there's no compulsion in religion you're free to believe or not but there will be a day of judgment

The fundamental idea of God as a being is the most important part of Islam..."God wasn't born and wouldn't have a son" is more important than "be a good person who does good deeds"..

In Islam we don't worship and pray to the creation, we worship and pray to the Creator.

Imagine if you said, “If I’m praying to Moses and you’re praying to God… we’re both praying to God.” That’s how what you said sounds to me as a Muslim. I appreciate you brother for learning and seeking connection, indeed be are told in the Quran to lead with what we have in common. So I hope you don’t take it wrong through text. My intention is really just to help you in your effort to see the Muslim perspective. We agree that we believe in God and we seek to follow the example of Jesus (pbuh). So we would point out that Jesus (pbuh) didn’t pray to Jesus (pbuh) but rather Jesus (pbuh) prayed to God.

I’ve always been struck by the way in which Christian services, music, and I guess just discussion regularly interchanges the words God and Jesus (pbuh), I honestly can’t tell whether it’s like a conscious thing or an unconscious thing. Like sometimes it feels like it’s deliberately trying to force a conflation between God and Jesus, with the person intending to blur them together, whereas other times I hear someone do it and it seems clear they don’t even realize they are doing it and might even get confused if I ask about it, like they wouldn’t remember which word they used.

Have you experienced this? Do you have any insight?

Hey brother I’m a woman who came across your video on IG I was like wow may Allah guide him. I was raised into Christianity and my mom accepted Islam a few days ago too! I’m so happy I cried. I prayed for you that Allah guides you because you’re a sweetheart and smart. Christianity isn’t the truth unfortunately it hurts to hear that but if you really SINCERELY do your research and ask sheiks and scholars etc even people of knowledge you’ll find out soon Islam is the truth. We need mighty warriors like you. Someone who speaks the truth and has amazing manners approaching something he doesn’t know. This is very deep my friend I pray Allah guides you to Islam. This is coming from a revert myself who left Christianity didn’t marry a Muslim man. All I did was listen and read. Alhamdulillah
