The Specialized Turbo Tero is one of our favorite do it all electric bikes. From commuting to backcountry adventures, the Turbo Tero encourages riding more and riding further.

Starting at $2750, the Turbo Tero 3.0 uses a 250w mid-drive system, 29" wheels, front suspension, and is offering in step thru or high step frame options in sizes Small, Medium, and Large.

This aluminum frame electric bike is ready to tackle everything from single track to getting to the cafe. With a trail ready geometry the Turbo Tero makes a solid trail bike, but definitely shines when it comes to longer sustained backcountry adventures when you need to bring some gear along with.

Great and thorough video. One thing worth mentioning is that as a class 3 bike it may not have access to as many single-track trails as those are usually limited to class 1, but for the intended buyer, that probably won't be a problem.

Thank you for the great review! I have a question, would it be possible to charge the battery when it's removed from the frame? Thank you!

An extra battery is quite an investment. I haven’t found one under $1, 000 has anyone seen any cheaper options? A lot cheaper to purchase a small solar generator type thing and recharge during a break. I have a very small one 146WH 42, 000mah I can recharge 30-40% off of and it doesn’t take hardly any space in my bags. $130

I found the dropper post makes getting on and off easier. I can drop it at intersections and sit on the bike with both feet down.

Hello!
I have a Specialized Turbo Tero 4.0 frame size L, for a person’s height up to 185 cm. It is advisable to change the pedals on the day of purchase. Dopper Post 120 mm, short for my height 184 cm. 4-5 cm is missing. Which means my knees suffer. Will be replaced with the same one, but 170 mm. True, this is difficult to do on your own due to the fact that the cable runs behind the motor, and it is clamped with fasteners. You can't just push him through. Saddle and handlebars are individual. I replaced them with more suitable ones from the same company. So you can make this bike suitable for yourself if you put it in order.
P.S.
You mention Dropper Post replacement. Did you have to remove the left connecting rod and open the engine cover?

Does the range extender battery from specialized work on this?

Just bought a 2021 it’s currently only 20mph. Did you have to unlock anything to get up to 28mph?

What fork would you recommend upgrading to?

Perche' ha un prezzo cosi' basso rispetto ad altri marchi? Forse la componentistica di basso livello ? Come il cambio

Would be more plush with short travel rear shock.
