My daughter worked at this company. She was interviewed to be chosen (without her knowing), and when they asked her where she wanted to be in 5 yrs, she said “not here”. Oops! She blew it. Also, this guy quit right after he got the car. So did the man that got the money. This is a very old clip. About 10 yrs ago.

I’m furious! 25 cents an hour is embarrassing, a piddling increase on what is no doubt a low wage. And wow, sports drinks for two sweltering months only. Great to help one person (and I’m very happy for him) but be more generous to all your employees. US corporates get away with murder and offer a fraction of the benefits available in ALL other developed countries. Don’t let them get away with it!!

Love how people recognize the crappy 25¢ an hour raise and the that "sport drink" will only be given out two months out of the year as an absolutely pathetic attempt at seeming generous. Screw this boss he's a total d-bag for this. "Oh let's get a camera crew to come in and watch me 'work a shift' then give the workers a shite raise and some sport drink to make me look like I care for them on T.V"

So I thought 25 cents was low, if you work 5 days a week and you work 11 months of the year (time off for vacation ECT) then you get $440 more a year but after tax that leaves you with approx $350 .... He should have just said everyone gets an Xmas bonus of $350 would of sounded better

To be fair to OTC this episode was filmed 12 years ago. The CEO in this episode passed away in 2017 from a long illness he had been battling. I’d like to think that if this was filmed in 2022/23 OTC’s rate increase would be reflected using the current COLA.
