I want someone to explain to me how we banned and made all possession of heroin/fentanyl illegal but people still have access to it and die at a much higher rate of gun violence everyday.

Take every person in the US, now count them & both of their hands. We have more guns in the US than that. What does that mean? For one, if it’s the guns, the we should a lot more killings than we do, atleast 380% increase in shootings compared to the guns we have. Also, making them illegal will only put guns into the hands of people who want to do the harm. The 1% of people that use guns to kill. The same way people who want to use and distribute heroin that’s banned/illegal if they want to.

Mental health is the best option, increase funding & also places guards at all schools. How many bank robberies do we have no with armed guards guarding the bank? Why do we guard money but not our children? That’s a topic for another day though.

Instead the mayor first gave priority to pitching the usual the Democrat political narrative. The truth is that Atlanta was among the Democrat cities soft on violent crime. We will probably learn that this murder was a repeat violent offender.

Unlike other cities in other States going through these violent crimes, I am so proud of our law enforcement in Georgia, especially of those who were there during this heinous crime in Atlanta.
