It’s weird cause Keaton’s character is actually right in this scene but Ruffalo totally owns this whole clip.

“They let it happen TO KIDS!” That line gave me chills

Did you notice at 0:44 the man pushing his son on the swing with that vacant look in his eyes? That was one of the first victims they interviewed.

I like this scene but to me the best scene was at the ending, when the Paper's phone kept receiving calls from other victims when they were expecting angry calls. That scene really gave me the chills and was a great way to end a movie.

This scene is why Ruffalo deserved the Oscar.

Just a gritty, smart film for the love of story telling. No BS. The actors just so dialed in. You can tell. Just an amazing movie.

" They knew and they LET IT HAPPEN".
As a SA survivor, that line gives me chills. This movie was amazing.

I cried in this scene... for some reason.
I am not used to cry for movies.
But years later, this scene still gives chills.

It's a risk for Batman to make Hulk angry.

Best scene? Sure. But the Most Relevant scene must be the Priest Parquin declaring that 'Yes, he Molested kids but  he derived 'no pleasure doing so' ...we have to identify all errors in Reasoning  (deliberate or otherwise) in this inquiry so we may forewarn others; especially Kids!

If three kids were violated and it was a company that did it and covered it up, that company would be finished. Under the Catholic Church, the numbers are in the thousands. And nothing is done.

0:45 that's the abuse victim Ruffalo interviewed earlier

Terrific scene. In the whole film, you do hear direct reactions from others on that team on how horrific all of it is etc, but not really from Ruffalo( he is also, by the looks of it, a junior on the team). So for him to then break into a rant is cathartic to say the least. It’s almost as if he stopped being a journalist for once, and the film for once stopped being an investigative journalism film and just was directly, while addressing the audience and almost breaking the fourth wall in a way, saying what needed to be said. Terrific filmmaking, excellent writing and some great actors acting the hell out of it. Wonderful movie.

When I heard that this movie won Best Picture over Mad Max, I was upset, so I watched it myself. As I was watching it, I thought: "This is great, but it REALLY didn't deserve it."

I took back everything I said when I saw Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo's performance.
