Career changes not only happen when employees feel uncomfortable at work. Alpha Pac recruiter Danielle Sands loved her former job at Purdue running the youth development. But as much as she enjoyed it, she was missing the chance to spend more time with her daughter.

Motivated by this and having her family as her main why, she decided to transition to the recruitment industry in 2021, and fortunately, her choice has paid off. Now, she can hang out with her daughter, take her to preschool, and work on her farm alongside her husband, all while she markets candidates and recruits job orders.

She's been able to balance her personal life with her daily work schedule, and to succeed as a recruiter, she knows she has to stay in front of people as much as she can.

As a gpac recruiter, she has experienced all the perks of the laptop lifestyle. Not being a "hostage" to the desk has allowed her to visit her family in other states while she makes a living. Another perk she experienced was the chance to visit her family in other states.

But access to these benefits was more than just smooth sailing. As a natural introvert, she had to challenge herself to become more social and talk to people daily. Fortunately for her and all the trainee recruiters, gpac's family atmosphere and camaraderie allow you to overcome any obstacle using the team's combined knowledge and experience.
