I am hoping to make Maple Syrup again, hoping next year. I need to build a new stove and pan. And with the meat plant being so busy, time is also an issue!

I was wondering about the maple syrup run Scott. Had not seen it in a while.

Been a strange winter for sure. Many hours need there to get things back in shape and get all the Fiona trees cut up.

How's she goin'? It's almost time to tap. I figure another 2 weeks maybe eh!! At least for me. But then again I only tap about 2 dozen trees. LOL Not too sure what kind of year this will be since the winter was so mild. Take care!!

You know, if you get rid of the snowmobile, you will have, at least, two years of heavy snow cover. Tapping trees and boiling down syrup is suppose to be fun or profitable but there is always a lot of work involved.

Well, 150 views and quite a few comments.. I find it interesting, simply because there is no syrup making here. Looks like you need to take everything down, clean it up and put it all back together..
