I would buy this top spec in the US first thing. But sadly, we will not be getting these great cars from China. Instead, we will continue to pay for overly expensive garbage made here in the US that just has more and more Recalls under warranty year after year.

I have two ev in family. Happy for daily use. But for the touring family car, ev with 430km wltc won't do. I did a trip a few months ago in WA in model Y 270km is the longest travel between chargers. Tesla barely did it at high way speed. So for me towing a caravan at least 650km range will make me confident. Even this will not do in some trips like great Northern highway. No charger network. Phev is the only option atm.

As a person that lives in the United States and Thailand it kills me that Americans can't get any of these amazing Chinese vehicles. I also see how quickly these EV's are taking over in Thailand.

Thanks god, Thailand still not get BYD Shark. It is delayed. Maybe BYD is doing the Thai production lineup before release. Riddara RD6 introduced first. It is imported to Thailand.

Talk to me in 3 years time Sam, no way I'm swapping an ICE or a Hybrid Shark order for a full EV Ute just yet. Until our charging infrastructure improves dramatically, and I mean dramatically, EV uptake in the commercial and light trucks space will struggle.

I'd still go for the shark, I drive in the bush too often, having the petrol option is pretty cool and the 800km range is perfect. Also the shark looks bigger, I imagine the bed space is also bigger. I can't wait to see all these cars on the road with real people driving them. So far it's just cool tech

I have the semi full spec of the 4x2 version 86kw of the Riddara here in Costa Rica and honestly is such great car. In my case I don't need the 4x4 but we also have it available for around 44k USD
